Our Favorite Holiday Arrangement

This Holiday arrangement has it all. White Cup Oriental Lilies are breathtaking beauties, combined with festive red berried branches and fresh greenery makes this a seasonal sight to behold! Gorgeous lilies have huge bloom sizes, high bud counts, long stems and an outstanding vase life. Ilex branches bear plentiful, vibrant and glossy red berries clustered along strong, upright branches giving the arrangement more than its share of holiday flair. Cedar branches contribute to the spirit of the season and adds feathery, bright green, fern-like texture.

White Cup lilies are grown in our glass greenhouse after the bulbs have started rooting in our "rooting cooler."  Ilex verticillata are farmed outdoors on our Willow Creek property where we grow this very special hybrid (which is our pride and joy). We pick greenery in the evergreen forests surrounding our farm where it is abundantly available.

Holiday Flower Delivery:

Christmas, a time of giving, is the perfect time to send holiday flowers to yourself or a loved one. All of the traditional colors of Christmas are represented in this particular bouquet, including red (from the apples hung on the "paradise tree," the symbolic red of holly berries, and of course, the robes of St. Nick), along with hues of evergreen, white, and silver. Our White Cup Lilies arrive in bud form and will begin to bloom within a few days, opening progessively over the course of 14 days.  Red Ilex and Green Cedar not only match the longevity of our Oriental Lilies, they surpass it, and can be enjoyed for at least three weeks, making the vase life of this Christmas Bouquet one of the longest.  All our holiday flowers are picked fresh from our farm, arranged, and delivered next-day.

2 Ways to Arrange Holiday Greenery:

  • Spray: Add flowers one at a time, layering with greenery as you go. Disperse branches evenly within the bouquet positioning them a bit taller to spray above bouquet.
  • Collar: Gather the greenery and place around the base of the arrangement forming a "collar" around the perimeter of the bouquet.
